Water Safety & First Aid — Waterworks Park

Safety is very important to us...

the first aid station is located behind the large red tent, behind the lockers, next to the tube shack.

It is always staffed with a trained team member and a California Certified EMT is on site during park operation to ensure the safety of the guests.


Lifejackets

WaterWorks Park provides lifejackets at no additional cost to our guests on a 1st come 1st serve basis (supplies are limited.)  Guests may bring in their own Coast Guard approved lifejackets or arm floats. Please keep in mind that only WaterWorks Park/Coast Guard approved lifejackets are approved for use on WaterWorks Park  body slides and attractions. 


Outside Floats/fins

No outside floats or fins are allowed in the park.


WaterWorks Park Lifeguards 

WaterWorks Park  lifeguards are licensed through American Red Cross in; First Aid and CPR/AED and other skills they need to work as a professional lifeguard. Duties of Lifeguards include ensuring guest safety, enforcing rules, providing guest service, responding to aquatic and on land emergencies, and providing medical care as trained. Lifeguards rotate to a variety of positions throughout their shifts including dispatching positions, seated positions, roving positions, and in water positions. Lifeguards are not babysitters.
